Does anybody remember what an old "fish camp" looks like? Well, this is it! A run-down old park that is converting to park models. I'll skip it next time through that area.

Nice setting, but older type park. Kind of tight for maneuvering big rigs (not horrible). Restaurant was average bar fare - not great. Golf is the attraction here - if you don't golf, why stay here?

Outstanding facility for a "Big Rig." We stayed in the newer "D Loop" and it had wide paved roads and huge concrete pads. A wonderful view of the distant bluffs and of the marina area of Lake Powell. This place is super !

Nice park in Vegas. Kind of crowded for "Big Rigs", but you can do it. Pretty tight entrance with goofy "arches." Nice pool area and small cafe. Friendly staff.

Outstanding and beautiful park! Can't say enough good about it. A "must stay" for RVers traveling through Oregon.

I have read the other reviews on this park, but feel compelled to give it only a "5" rating. It just was not quite what I expected. The big guy at the counter just had an "off center" personality and was only minimally friendly. He gave me a real pain over AAA or Good Sam membership for a discount. I finally told him to forget the discount, but about then discovered the AAA card in my wallet somewhere. This is the first time at an RV park that anyone has questioned me like this. You can get "Big Rigs" into this park, but it is not the easiest task - roads are fairly narrow, spaces are not laid out at the proper angle for easy in and outs with big moho's, and pads are fairly narrow. My biggest gripe is that you step out of your moho onto muddy grass and then track it into the RV. They should have made small concrete patios off of the pads, or, at least continued on with small rock work to step out onto. They have cable TV outlets on the pedestal, but there is no cable TV service. No cell phone service in this area, either. Park was clean and neat, though, and the best thing in this remote area. I just tell it like it is!

Wonderful, big park with good hook-ups. Basic, with paved pads and rock in between sites. Very clean. A great place to stay if you want to do the Grand Canyon Railway to the Grand Canyon. Train station is adjacent to the park. Pet hotel for keeping pets while visitors are touring.

I agree with other posts here. This is an expensive property that was laid out completely wrong. With my towed vehicle hooked up just for an overnight stay, I couldn't hook up my sewer connection because the park's sewer was located by the back of the motorhome. Most newer parks also have sewer hookups near the middle of the pads - not this one. The pads themselves are way too narrow, which lets one have to step out of the motorhome into the flower bed - nice, if it is raining! Highway noise is there, but wouldn't bother me if I had been happy with the park.

Very nice park in SW Bakersfield just off of Hwy 99. Large sites and wide roads in park. Extremely friendly staff. Good cafe. I did not like the decomposed granite pads, though, because it tracks into the rigs. They should have put in concrete, or at least put in larger gravel. I would recommend this park.

Nice park. Kind of hard to get around in with big rig, though. Friendly staff and very clean place.

Older park in remote area outside of Watsonville, CA. Lots of low trees on roadway leading from Hwy 1 to site - watch with big rigs. Park is way over-priced for what you get - must be sought after because of lack of RV parks in this area. No cable TV, sites very rustic to kind of run down. $81 per night!!!! You can stay in luxury, five star motorcoach resorts in Vegas and Indio for this kind of money!

Newer section is great for big rigs. Clean place with paved pads, grass and concrete patios. Good cable TV and wi-fi.

Nice overnight park located behind Rolling Hills Casino. Very basic overnight type place. Rock pads, no frills. Self serve payment booth, no restrooms. No cable TV.

Nice new park in SW Bakersfield. Great facilities - restaurant, store, pool, fitness center, etc. Only negative for me was the decomposed granite pads - kind of dirty. Pads had grass and concrete patios, though. Staff was great! They are proud of their new place. Lots of room to maneuver big rigs - trees not a problem.

I am reviewing the new RV Resort behind the truck stop here, not the older one adjacent to the casino. It is a "10+" facility. The nicest park I have stayed in other than the luxury parks in Indio and Vegas. Put this one in your itinerary!

Very nice overnight type park. I found the pads to be way too narrow for my 42' motorhome. When going out of the door of the MH, you walk right out onto the landscaping instead of the pad. I'll give it a 9 because of that.

Beautiful park with waterfront views. Good for "Big Rigs." Paved streets with grassy sites -very nice! Try it - you'll like it!

Decent overnight spot when traveling through Bakersfield. We stayed 4 nights while visiting family in the area, then returned and spent two more nights after a trip to Indio. Only drawback is the messy decomposed granite/dirt on the pad. The "overnite" spots don't have any grass or concrete, so you track the gravel/dirt into the motorhome/trailer. Still, basically a good spot in Bakersfield. Friendly staff and place was very clean and neat. Good access for Big Rigs in pull-thrus (no trees to hit). We stayed here in April/May of 2006 with a 42' motorhome with towed vehicle.

Nice park right off of I-5 in Coburg, OR. The back spaces (new section) are nice and big pull-thrus and easy to get into and out of, even with the towed vehicle hooked up. Paved roads with concrete pads and grassy yard for each site. Very clean. Poor water pressure. A very good overnite stop when in the Eugene Area.

We ran across this property in March and felt it was the best RV property in the country - so much so that we bought a lot in it. We returned in late April with our motorhome and got to know the area even better. This will be our "winter retreat" place to escape the rain in the Pac NW. This review is basically for owners of Big Rigs, as that is what the park was designed for and restricted to (30' Class A's & bigger). No nicer or more first-class motorcoach property in the U.S.A.!

I agree with the above posts, but I give it a solid "10". Absolutely the BEST RV park I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in lots of them, including Outdoor Resorts of America. I plan to come back every year.

I reviewed this one with a "9" back in Oct. of 2004. I just stayed again and want to downgrade to a "7". Park's water system was pumping fine red dirt particles which plugged up my filter system. Nobody at the office said anything about this problem. Also, you can pay a "weekly" rate, or a "daily" rate. If you are visiting the area and aren't sure just how many days you'll be staying - you're in trouble because you have to "pre-pay" for the days and they don't refund if you leave early. I left town early and lost 50 bucks. No big deal, but kind of kinky seeing as how it is the "off season" and 90% of the park was empty. Come to think of it, let me downgrade even further to a "6" because of this policy in the off season! Park is still nice, with big motor home spaces.

Nice overnight park along I-5. A little tight to navigate, but they have pruned trees pretty nicely so Big Rigs can get around. Pull thru spots for 40-45' rigs. Gravel sites, full hookups. Stayed here in Feb. '05 with 42' motor home. Friendly staff. A good "8".
